    This is a great picture of some of our staff and teenage leadership volunteers from last week. They all came in to hang out with Collin on his last day. These are just some of the role models that volunteer and help teach the Pujols Family Foundation martial arts classes, Chick Fight Club, sparring classes, children’s classes, and they also often sit on the exam board during belt testing. During our last black belt exam almost every student earning their black belt that day made comments about wanting to be a good role model and example for others. What an admirable goal! I am certain that it comes from seeing the great example set by the students in this picture. I’m a big believer that you make a bigger difference in the world by lifting other people up than you do by disruption and tearing other people down. It’s easy to look at some of the things going on in our world today and wonder where we’re headed, but then you look at people like these young men and women and realize that our future is in good hands. These students exemplify everything we try to teach here at St. Louis Family Martial Arts Academy every day.
